Just downloaded

And I cannot for the life of me see where any of these guides are? I see screenshots on the website of the client that look totally different than mine.

I'm not sure if they need to be added after downloading the cleint or what.

I signed up for Classic but I know that guide is coming days before the initial release but I'd like to have it figured out before than so come launch it's easy

Based on your screenshot they should be installed. You launched WoW and checked your addons menu to see if they were there?

Your screen shot is of the desktop client. What you see there for the products are the BfA guides. There will be an update to the client that will add the classic guides as a 3rd product to be installed. Once that update is out then it should be less confusing.
