zygor launching classic on US client not eu

when i launch the normal game i am on EU servers but its not working for classic


any fix?

in the options i cant find anything to launch the classic game on eu servers only the options to update the region to eu


edit: found a fix



open
wow> classic -> wtf -> config.wtf
open it with a text Programm
change the first line from

SET locale "enUS"
to
SET portal "EU"

or to what ever you need to connect

yes when i use the play button from the launcher

Can you go into the client settings (gear icon at the bottom right) and in the Installations section click the pencil icon next to the WoW Classic setting. That will display 3 settings. Please either list what they are here or a screen shot of it.

Ok, that first one should be:

C:\World of Warcraft\_classic_

Use the magnifying glass next to it to change it then make sure to click the green check mark to save the change.

It's possible you're gonna have to fully enter the game world with EU before it will remember your setting. I'm not sure this is a Zygor thing as we don't control what region you log into, just what executable is launched. If you launch from the Blizzard client does it remember to keep you on EU each time?

Do you maybe have 2 different classic installs and the client is pointing to the wrong one? What do the battle.net launcher settings show for the install folder for classic?

It might be that you have to get logged in via the battle.net launcher one time first with a toon before everything is setup in the classic folder to be able to use the direct Wow.exe file to go to the EU servers.

strange thing is when i use the Zygor exe , i have to manually log into my wow account its not saving my password / email

That is normal. By default we are starting the Wow.exe file which goes directly to the game without using the battle.net launcher. If you would like the play button to launch the battle.net launcher instead you can change the middle setting to:

C:\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft Launcher.exe
