Settings from Retail to Classic?

Is there a way to transfer settings from Retail to Classic? For example, if I rename settings files to "ZygorGuidesViewerClassic" and then do a global find/replace from "ZygorGuidesViewer" to "ZygorGuidesViewerClassic", etc.?

Since the addon API is so similar, especially with regard to UI elements, etc. I was thinking I might be able to save some time tomorrow rather than having to dick around with getting all my settings the way I like them.

That is not advised and might not work. There are things in the retail settings that would not be in the classic settings and that might just mess it up making you log out to delete the settings so you can use the guides. Much better and safer to just take a minute or two to do the Zygor settings fast when you first log in.
