Profile settings not saving

Everytime I log back into the game all my setting are back to default and I cannot figure out why.

Having the same. I keep turning off automatic quest so I can read it. It keeps enabling itself.

Also guide keeps resetting to the first "heathstone" inn despite the fact I'm two inns past it now on the night elf guide.

Please update your guides. This is fixed in the latest update.

My guide is updated to the latest version that this is still occurring for me. I have a custom profile created, but I still have to switch to it every time I log in.

How do you exit the game when you are done playing?

With a /camp and Back->Exit. All my other addons save their data properly.

Ok, just wanted to make sure you were exiting properly because just closing the window if it's in windowed mode won't properly save settings. Your settings file might be corrupted. Try exiting the game, going to your wow/classic/wtf/account/<your account name here>/savedvariables folder, and delete the Zygor files in there. That will make it create a new file when you log in but you will have to setup your shared profile again.

I'll give that try and see how it goes. Is it possible that this was caused by me copying the ZygorGuidesViewerClassic.lua file over from a different account? I have a few accounts so I was trying to save time by using the same profile on all of them, but seem to be experiencing this on all the accounts.

I guess it's possible. Never really had anyone do it that I've known about so not sure what might happen when copying like that.

Deleting the savedvariables file appears to have fixed the issue.
