Your executable path for World of Warcraft doesn't exist

This is the error I get after installing the client on my PC.

The install locations listed are correct:

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_classic_
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_classic_\Wow.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns

I currently dont have retail installed, as I am just playing Classic.

The folders and executable exist, any ideas why it keeps saying this?


Also, i can see that the program made the folders in the retail location, but wont create them in classic.

It's saying that your classic installations are incorrect? I would expect it to complain about your retail installation if you don't have it installed, but that shouldn't really be that big of a deal if you don't need those guides.

Correct, I dont even have retail installed.

It created all the folders for retail, but won't create the classic ones at all

I dont have retail installed, so there were no folders before I installed zygor.

Zygor created this - C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesView er

When I run the installer, or repair, there are no folders in Classic created by Zygor, the installer doesnt even put anything in Classic.

Classic is installed.

Okay I understand now, I thought the issue was that the client wasn't recognizing your installation.

Just to be clear, you did in fact run the install option that you see in that third screenshot? I see you have retail guides installed, just not classic. I just want to clarify in case there's any confusion about which product represents classic in the client.

In the event that you have, and it's simply just not installing your classic guides, can you send your log file into support@zygorguides.com? If the installation is failing, the log file should help me figure out why. You can get to the log files via the Zygor client's system tray icon.

I have to head to bed though, so I'll have to get back to you in the morning.

Correct, I am running the classic, that was after closing and re-opening it just shows install.

I completely uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled the client - Selected only Classic this time, and the files were put there!

All of the settings are right there so I would say just try restarting the app. If it keeps wanting to say it's not right just ignore it since it is right and the guides are installed.

I've logged into the game several times and the guide isn't there.

Look in your WoW/classic/Interface/Addons folder. In there should be a ZygorGuidesViewerClassic folder. If you have a folder that does not say classic delete it. If you have both folders delete the non-classic folder then reload the UI. If you do not have a classic folder use the desktop client to get the classic guides installed.
