Hmm, the autosell junk feature only sells grey items. Which items exactly did it sell, so we can investigate? Thanks.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Hmm, it doesn't sell my skinning knife. Going to check a mining pick in a few.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Oh ok, that's a different feature. We can certainly add those as exceptions, thanks.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Update: You can simply click the Decline symbol button to refuse to sell it, and it should never try to sell that item again. If it does, let us know.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Okay, just tested it, and you don't click the Decline button. That will just make the window go away until the next time you talk to a vendor. To add the item as an exception, you actually need to click the red circle "-" button to the right of the item:

Once you click that, it will remember to not try to sell that item anymore.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

It has also suggested that it sell my staff (I'm a mage), which is pretty darned strange too.

Please see his follow-up post. He meant to tell you to click the red circle with a white line next to the item to add it to the list to be ignored.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:
