When the guide expected me to be level 39, I was almost level 40. Once I completed the 35-40 guide fully and it expected me to be level 40, I was just 25% into level 40. In a level or two it's gonna tell me to do a lot of grind again.
It seems that the "travel to pick up more quests and do less grinding" approach for the new classic guide didn't work out really well. Unless you don't go out of your way and do a dungeon quest run every few levels you will be falling behind and asked to grind.
From my understanding, the upcoming update that reverts the guide back to it's original vanilla guide is gonna require even more grind? If I didn't mind mindlessly grinding for hours I'd just not be bothered with a guide and chain dungeons all day.
