Revert guide back

Hi,

Is there anyway of reverting the guide back to before the 'efficiency' update? It is a buggy mess for me and as I have followed the original guide it has caused me to lose where I was. Now I only have a quest or two available per 'zone' step. I regret updating.

Zygor you really should've just included both. Casual and Efficiency and let your users chose which they prefer

You just need to get re-synced with the guide. To do this, load the guide closest to your characters level and allow the Smart Injection System to skip through the steps until you find the first red incomplete quest related step (not a flight path or hearthstone step) you can do. Continue this process until you’re back in line with the guide again. This may mean doing lower level quests or having to travel around a bit, but once you get in sync things should be smooth sailing from that point on.

Hello Zygor!

I got the exact same issue as the author, and I followed your tips. Thing is just, the guide tells me to pickup a quest there aren't there. And it keeps messing up everything no matter how much I try to use the smart injector. It would've been awesome if you had made an option to choose between the two guides.

Hi guys, this exact this is happening to me, I was following a guide that I outleveled a little but I was fine with that, since I have to go to other area to farm some gold for my mount, now I want to go back to leveling and everything is messes up, I tried to pick the zone then clean my quest log and it want me to drop almost every single quest I have, so I think that should be able to pick what kind of guide we want to use, this change at mid leveling is kinda hard. So if is possible to request both guides, I think that would be great. Thanks

Try starting to use the guide at 2-4 levels lower than your current level. With the continent hopping taken out, you'll be about 2 levels lower when completing things in lower level zones than in the previous version.

Having similar trouble since update. now that I think I've found when I am again in guide it sent me to Orgrimmar to hand in Jorn Skyseer quest when it's actually in Camp Taurajo.

That is an error, thanks for reporting. This will be fixed in the next guide update.

the guide is not working at all

Try doing a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_classic_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewerClassic folder
3. go to the WoW/_classic_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

I was at lvl 30.. and I have loaded from lvl 20 and had to just pick up a quest here and there to get back on track.

anyways, I like the new guide. (so far)
