Client wont save my settings

i keep turning off the gold guide and the client keeps turning it back on!

Hmm, try disabling the trend data updates and then restart the computer before trying to restart the client.

Have you tried uninstalling the client and then install a fresh copy. The uninstall should wipe the settings file as well and maybe that will get it to work properly.

The client only saves when shutting off the retail guide.. the gold + the classic turn them self back on.

I'll see if I can get our client programmer to check in here for ideas.

I've noticed that the "auto quest acceptance" checkbox is always selected when starting a new character instead of remembering that I have switched it off so many times before. The other settings seem to be remembered when starting a new character.

I've also been experiencing this since classic launched. I am also using a single profile.

The most infuriating part of the client for me and relating here is that I deselect my inactive realms and set it to only update gold data on my active realm. And then the next day its downloading 15+ realms data every update no matter how many times I save the setting. Over and over and over.
