Pulled up the "I thought you said they'd be rare?" achievement in Zygor, however instead of showing me where each rare spawn is located, it refers me to just earn the "Outside Influences" achievement in the "points of interest" section, of which there's nothing, OR it says to go to Mechagon and earn the "outside influnces" achievement as well. Dead end. No help at all. I'm going to have to use Google (which is free) where all these rares are located, instead of using Zygor (which I pay a monthly sub for).

That is telling you to use the POI system. You go to the area it says and then look on the map for the rare POI markers. You click on one of them on the mini map to get an arrow and step instructions for getting to the rare.
