    Zygor enabled = flights broken

I just installed WoW Classic and Zygor (no other mods yet) on a new laptop and when I try to take a flight in Undercity, clicking on destination does not actually begin the flight. The only way I could get my flight to proceed was disable Zygor and reload the UI. Are there any settings that I should change to correct this? I have not experienced this on my desktop which is weird since it has had Zygor installed for more than a month now in addition to other mods. Could there be a regression in the latest update that an older install does not experience?

To clarify, on this install I did not check the regular retail file installation for WoW and I also removed those Zygor components. Is that required perhaps?

It sounds like you just copied the retail guides over to the classic folder? If so that will never work properly since the two game versions use 2 different addon API and thus 2 different guide viewer code versions. Please make sure you are using the desktop client to install the classic guide product.

I ran the Zygor (Zygor_Setup_4.2.15.exe) installer. When I installed WoW on this laptop however, I did not install the retail game, just the classic version, so there is only a _classic_ directory in my WoW folder. I also unchecked "World of Warcraft" and "Auction Trend Data" under the Updates options in Zygor for "Enable updates for the following:". The Zygor updater did download the Classic leveling guides and the ZygorGuidesViewerClassic directory is 20.7 MB and has 368 files and 57 folders.

Ok, then I misunderstood what you were trying to say in that last sentence. The guide viewer should not be preventing you from taking a flight path. I know you just did installs but try doing a full guide reset.

        1. exit WoW
        2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
        3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
        4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
        5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

There is no _retail_ folder since when I installed WoW, I chose only to install the Classic version. My only directory other than the Data folder in the World of Warcraft firectory is _classic_. From what you just said, it sounds like there is a dependency on the _retail_ WoW version for Zygor to work properly. Can you confirm?

No, that was my mistake. I should have had _classic_ where you see _retail_ and the folder you will be deleting in the Addons folder is ZygorGuidesViewerClassic.

That resolved it. Sounds like the solution to most issues.
