was wondering is it normal for the guide to keep recommending Winterspring 40-60 as the next guide after i completed it?

shouldn't it recommend a burning crusade guide?

Must be Horde side. That one has the wrong suggestion causing it to do that. Try loading up the Un'Goro Crater next.
