Maybe this quest should just be skipped in guide. its horrible finding these things.

If you grind around a small-ish area, in a circle pattern, killing all of the undead enemies, more will spawn. They share spawn points with all of the undead enemies, so it's a grind heavy quest that gets you a ton of experience. It's much harder if you avoid enemies and run around trying to find the ghouls specifically.
