Client is up to date as well as realm trend data selected have also run multiple manual auction scans but the gold guide still says there is a lack of trend data.

Go into the desktop client settings (gear icon bottom right) and make sure your realm is setup in the trend data section of the settings.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Try doing a guide reinstall.
1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
