Getting rid of uneeded inventory

Would be nice if guide mentioned it being ok to destroy stuff no longer needed-Flares, Whistles, Manuals, Eggs etc etc
Went to Wowhead comments to find out -I was carrying around for a long while
Being that I don't know how to see guide steps ahead (like a listing of whats coming ) I have no idea if I'm gonna need to keep these things. I suppose I could peruse carefully through Blizzards quest log-but that somewhat defeats the purpose of a monthly subscription to Zygor (for Classic at least)

We do have tips in the steps saying when you can get rid of quest items that are no longer needed. It can be easy to miss those if you get too accustomed just looking to see what the arrow says to do next.
