Mining guide bug?

I think there is a bug in the mining guide. It tells me to reach mining skill 250 (243/250) but my current skill is already at 259.

Do you by chance have any items equipped that give you a bonus to mining?

No, I have not. I logged in today, it´s still showing me the wrong skillpoints.

Could you try disabling all other addons to see if it sees the proper skill level when only Zygor is running?

Did so, but it is still showing the incorrect mining skill.

We will check into this to see if we can spot anything on our side. Could you do one final test and change your game client to English to see if that has any impact? I doubt that will make a difference but just covering all bases.

Try entering the following in game chat to see if trying to reset the mining stuff in Zygor will work.

/run table.wipe(ZGV.db.char.SkillsKnown) ZGV:CacheSkills() ReloadUI()

Did that, now it tells me my mining skill is 0
Even after restarting the game client it´s still at 0.
Btw, I noticed the same happend with the engineering guide. It showed me an incorrect engineering skill but after using the script you postet it is also displayed at 0/300 in the addon now.

After running that script did you open up the profession window? By that I mean the Smelting window and the Engineering crafting window.

I did now, but nothing changed

Try doing a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_classic_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewerClassic folder
3. go to the WoW/_classic_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

nope, that did not fix it, both profession guides tell me that i have 0/300. Btw thank you a lot for your support so far.

Ok, let's try one more test. This will give a 'clean' game environment to make sure nothing else is messing with things. You will be able to get everything back to normal after testing with renaming the folders back to original.

1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/_classic_/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW/_classic_ folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click check for updates at the top, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it
