Why is my navigation arrow

Not working. More importantly, it shows up but it's a square map. I have browsed through the setting thinking I might have accidentally hit something, however, I have found nothing. Just to add it appears to be a problem only with WoD

In case anyone else has a similar question:

Blizzard has changed the garrisons to be instanced areas and Blizzard does not allow arrows to work in instanced areas.
