Nazjatar quest guide not working optimally?

So i'm in Nazjatar, i've done a lot of the quests like going to Mechagon, etc but while using the guide it's telling me to go places and accept quests that aren't there or do certain things. Some of the stuff does show up but i have to skip multiple quests because there's nothing to accept or turn in. I've gotten up to the part where I see the cutscene of Queen Azshara and then after that it tells me to speak to lorthermar theron and assault something but there's nothing to click on that it says to.

I'm not sure if i'm missing something. Do I need to level my follower to level 3 like it says on a few of the quests I do have? They're blue quests.

If a guide step says to use a level 3 follower then you want to do what the guide step says. If the guide tells you to do a mission that says you should be using a level 3 follower then you should do that. Have you completed the 3 main leveling zones and the war campaign?

So it looks like a lot of the quests require crafting profession. Is this going to hinder my progress in the area?

You should only be directed to do crafting quests if you have the appropriate crafting skill.
