    Guide is wasting my time

    I've just finished the Darkshore (21-21) guide and reached level 22. The addon suggested to start the Stonetalon Mountains (22-23) guide. So, assuming I can trust a guide I'm actually paying money to use, I follow along. I run from Darkshore, all the way through Ashenvale, and down into Stonetalon. The guide tells me to talk to Kaela Shadowspear and accept 'On Guard in Stonetalon'. Turns out this is part of a chain. I needed to pick up the first part of 'On Guard in Stonetalon' in Astranaar. The guide did not take me there. I gotta go back up to Astranaar and all the way back down to Stonetalon? For $8/month, this is unacceptable. I've cancelled my sub.

      You must've skipped the entire guide section after Darkshore (21-21), which is Ashenvale (21-22). On step 2 of the Ashenvale (21-22) guide, you are instructed to pick up the quest "On Guard in Stonetalon", before you ever go to Stonetalon Mountains.

        I followed the guide from level 1 up to where I quit with it. I didn't skip anything. Your rip-off guide did. It never had me go into any of the Ashenvale guides. I was level 22. Why wouldn't I start a guide that starts at level 22? It's not my problem that your guide doesn't account for players appropriately skipping ahead to match their level. If a player starts a guide and that guide has prerequisites that the player hasn't completed, then the guide should efficiently guide the player through those prerequisites. But it's easier to just blame it on user error huh? Apparently I made the right choice to cancel if that's how you think you should respond.

            Imagine, you have to travel a bit more, maybe by an error (human or software) .. all hell would break loose! You could (and I'm just spit balling here) just ask, if this is an error in the guide or not. I'm just saying!

            You clearly have no clue how software development works.

              I actually had the same issue as this angry person - the guide seemed to skip the initial quest you need to pickup before heading thru the tunnel into Stonetalon.

              While this persons tone and approach are clearly not constructive, maybe you could take a look at the chain of events or whatever it is that happens behind the scenes to make sure there’s nothing being skipped/ overlooked? Thank you!

                      I see nothing wrong with Zygor's response. OP made a decision.... do you expect people to beg you to change your mind? OP would likely had a much better response if he had used Beefimus' approach.

                      Only "Yikes" I see is the amount of whining and complaining from OP. What happened to "Hey, I have an issue.... this is the issue.... can this issue be solved?". I believe that is what the Tech Support section is for, maybe he should had tried using that.....just a thought.
