Getting LUA error on startup

I just downloaded Zygor last night, worked fine, worked fine again this morning, just logged in now and suddenly I'm getting this error? Any thoughts?

Have you tried disabling all other addons to see if one of them is messing with the loading?

Thank you for replying. Yes, I just removed ALL mods except for Zygor. Same error.

In the first few lines, it mentions this: "attempt to index field 'CurrentGuide' (a nil value)"

To me, that sounds like it is looking for the current guide and not finding it, however I don't know your code well enough (at all) to figure out what steps need to be taken. How does Zygor determine what the current guide is? Does it use a config file of some sort? Or the presence of a folder/files?

Unfortunately, the error prevents the Zygor dialog box from showing, so I can't simply choose to add a new guide.

Try doing a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Ok, so here is what I can tell you.

I deleted the files and folders as described above and reinstalled Zygor. I also made sure no other mods were being loaded. Doing this gets me back to a point where I can see there Zygor dialog box in game, HOWEVER....

I still get the LUA error if I try to choose anything related to LEVELING. So for instance, I can now add a guide for professions, or reputation, and those will work just fine. However, if I choose anything related to leveling, it throws the LUA error.

Out of interest, I created another new character and started to play the game using this new character. In this case, Zygor kicked right in and worked fine without any errors whatsoever.
I then switched back over to the character I created yesterday, and Zygor crashed with the LUA error.

So, the issue seems to be tied to the character somehow. I don't know if that's something on my end or yours?

I believe I saw the problem. You are getting an error when you are trying to load a guide that does not really exist in the free trial guides. They are very limited in what guides are available to you and for leveling it's very limited. You were getting the error when trying to load a 20-25 guide which is just supposed to show a message in the guide viewer window that says you're reached the end of the free trial guides. I will have our dev team look into why it's throwing an error instead of displaying the end of trial message like it should be doing.

Ah.... okay, that makes sense. Thank you for the followup. Sounds like purchasing the plan might solve the problem for me.
