Desktop guide Freezes with Syncing

Hello,

I don't know what happened or changed but for some reason the past week the guide will not properly auto-sync like it always did. It freezes at syncing and will do nothing until I kill it in Taskmanager and reopen it. Then it syncs properly at first opening.

I have tried to repair it, uninstall and reinstall, none of that works.

You can go into the client settings and in the Updates section at the bottom change it over to sync manually. That will make it so that it only tries to sync when you click on Sync at the top of the client and should help prevent it from getting stuck when trying to do an automatic sync. This is something we are investigating.

Mine is still stuck in sync mode.

Have you restarted the client after changing that setting?
