WOW Gold Trend Data Issue

I been having this issue for about a Week now. I really only use Zygor for the AH part and if this cant get resolved I dont see a point in keeping it.

So my Auction House Trends are never getting updated in game. I keep The Zygor windows program open and it updates.

Now in game after I do a scan and Appraise all I still dont get any trend information and after an hour the data is completely useless.


I have already tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling and it still does this issue.

Just making sure this is what you did. Try doing a guide reinstall.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
4. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

So I just did that, and logged into my bank alt, and this is what the message in my chat window says. Shows 8 hours old Server Trends even after I just updated it. When I hit the scan button this message showed up in my chat box but the scan was still progressing but nothing updated. It also its updating now but the server trends are showing to be 8hours old.

The trend data is average prices over the last 30 days and is only updated every 2 days. It is normal for the server trend to be reporting up to 48 hours old when you log in like that in the chat window.

The game servers only allow a scan once every 15 minutes so if something else did a scan or anything triggered the timer on the game server you will not be able to start a scan, however you do not need to do a scan in game. If you have the desktop client running it will also download hourly scan data for the gold guide to use and then all you have to do is reload the UI in game to have the latest hourly data loaded.

Now that there is a Gold Guide for Classic, are you going to add the Classic servers to the realm list for the trend data?

Blizzard has not added the classic servers to the AH API so the trend data on the client will only be for the retail servers.
