Is the Rare finder currently working? What's the best setup?

My understanding of Zygor's rare finder POI system was that it would notify me through the Zygor Notifications tab when a rare is available. This would be similar to the (free) RareScanner addon.

I'm wondering if I am not using it correctly. The only notifications I have are for pets and mounts (though these are old and I have turned this feature off in an effort to fix this issue).



Is there a way to ping notifications to Zygor for rares and allow me to click on them for pathing information?

An icon will show on the map that you click to get steps to go after the rare. The POI stuff is all on the map and does not show up in the notifications window.

Thanks for the reply! So, there's no method to know whether the Rare is actually present at the POI or not, is that correct?

That is correct. There is no guarantee it is alive at that spot. For some of them you can see an icon for them on the mini map if they are up but you do need to be close enough for them to be in mini map range.
