Subscription expired?

The notification centre is showing a message this morning saying "Subscription expired" and then goes on to say the guides aren't up to date.

I've checked my account in the Members section and everything looks fine. Also, the client and guides are up to date, too. What's going on?

Something prevented the license file from updating properly. Try doing a guide reinstall.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
4. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Thanks - was just about to do this but logged in to double-check first and the error message has gone from both the notification centre and the chat log.

I'll try what you suggested if it comes back again.

I had this message again this morning but deleting then re-installing a fresh copy fixed it.

I've always done the manual install. I'm not getting the message that the subscription is expired and that the guide needs to be updated. Any suggestions, as I've already tried deleting the entire folder and then unzip a fresh copy.

If you do not get any error messages about the subscription or it needing updating then what is the problem you are having?
