Gold - Farming/Gathering - window only showing 1 or 2 items.

I've recently purchased the Zygor guides specifically for the gold guides. I've tried scanning the auction house a few times now and I'm only getting the same 1 or 2 items in the farming and gathering windows. Is this normal, what's going on?
