I have several 60's :- Paladin, hunters, rogue. I'm using Zygor's standard gear priority stats for ret paladin, BM hunter and combat rogue.
However, I was given a strange upgrade swap for an item on my rogue and since then I have started to notice some really strange gear advice recommendations.
So, with a little bit of simple testing in the AH (basically looking at worse and better gear and seeing what the Zygor guide recommends as an upgrade) the simplest items I found showing the error is as follows.
On my paladin, the chest he currently has is
Commanders armor of the bear:- 597 armor, +18 stam, +18 str
The armor I'm comparing it against is
Imperial plate chest:- 570 armor, +17 stam, +18 str
So, the new one has -27 armor and -1 stam and yet the guide is telling me that it is a 155.27% upgrade. Now, regardless of what spec I am, the new one is clearly worse for me. So how is that right.
I've noticed a lot of smaller things like this between different gear, depending who I am logged on with and I know it's my fault for sort of blindly following a recommendation, but how many other people is this affecting?
