Garrison

Maybe I am not using the guide correctly in the garrison, but it always wants me to exit the garrison and then come back in to go to the correct quest giver. How do I stop it from doing that. Also, is there a way to get the GPS arrow while in the garrison vs. the "Click to show map preview"?

That is caused by the recent change to garrisons. Blizzard changed garrisons into instanced zones and they do not allow any arrows to work in instanced zones. Unfortunately this sometimes causes the arrow to trip over itself as it's trying to route you via the teleporter or flight master in your garrison.
