    Gear Advisor

    So I am playing druid and have the gear advisor set for Feral DPS but when I look it says that agil and int are the top stat priorities. When I was just leveling a set of cloth boots dropped with stam/int/spirit and it replaced my current leather boots that had str/agility on them. Is this correct or is for some reason my stat priority wrong? This is also the case with Gear Advisor where it recommends cloth upgrades with stam/int/spirit from dungeons.

    I have not touched or changed the stat priorities and I recall when classic first launched the stat priority was definitely not agil+int.

    Any help with this would be much appreacited.

    We need to know the item you had equipped and the item that it replaced them with. Without knowing the stats on those items we have no idea which one is supposed to be correct. Also, if you set it to not automatically equip items you will get a pop up box that suggests which item to equip. If you think a suggestion is wrong you can hold Shift and click on the Decline button and that will give you a gear system bug report that you can copy/paste here which will allow us to see in greater detail why the gear system has picked one item over another.

      Thanks for the quick response. Here are some images displaying my item scoring that was set by Zygor for Feral DPS as well as the two items mentioned above.

        The cloth boots have a score of 1.928 and the leather boots have a score of 1.488. That means the cloth has the better stat score and is what should be suggested. The 8 points of Int out-weighed the 4 Agi and 4 Str.

          Right I understand that but when I leveled up my alliance druid on classic launch, int was not one of the main stats prioritized for Feral DPS. I guess im just wondering why int has such a high priority in the Feral DPS line especially when its making me take cloth boots over leather equipment.

            I would imagine that Int is there because our stats are based on solo questing and you will still need it for buffs and heals while soloing. As for leather vs. cloth that only affects the amount of armor on an item and we are not scoring armor.

                We do not score enchants. We only score the base stat values of the items.

                    If you get a suggestion that does not look correct please hold the Shift key and click on Decline to generate a gear system bug report. Then copy/paste that report here. The picture you posted tells us nothing.
