Can't find the corresponding guide to a quest

As an example, while questing in Nazjatar I am currently on the "Down Into Nazjatar" quest and have completed it. I expect something to pop up from Zygor saying to Hearth to Newhome or something along those lines but nothing.

So my next step is to open the quest log and go to the quest and use the magnifying glass icon on the quest to find the right guide but that icon isn't showing up either.

I think this might be because I've already done this on an alt but it doesn't make any sense to keep the completion of a guide from alt to alt.

Anyways, how do I get this to work properly because it's happening for a lot of content. I've been having to manually open and find the correct guides which kind of defeats the purpose of using Zygor to automate everything.

I'd like to clarify that the magnifying glass shows up for other quests and guides just not ones I've already completed.

That icon will only show up for quests that are covered by guides. If you think it might be bugged you can also search for guides by quest ID as shown on this manual page. https://zygorguides.com/support/manual/search

Searching by quest ID is a nice feature that I was not aware of so thanks for that but the issue isn't that the quest isn't provided by Zygor. The issue is that it just doesnt appear at all after you've already completed that step in a particular guide. My "Nazjatar" guide shows a 100% complete and now completely blocks me from searching for the quest "Down Into Nazjatar" by quest ID (quest:56235) and also does not give me the option to find the guide through the quest log either even though this quest is definitely in the guide.

Another good example that I am currently looking at now is from the "Nazmir" guide and trying to find the "The Fall of Kel'vax (quest:48480)". I am currently looking at the in game guide for "Nazmir" and it shows that I've completed step 59 which is to talk to the NPC "Shinga Deathwalker" and turn in "The Fall of Kev'lax". Now that I've turned in this quest, if I search for "The Fall of Kel'vax" with the string "quest:48480" I get "Search 'The Fall of Kel'vax': 0 result" which is obviously an issue. What you're probably wondering is why anyone would want to view the guide again after completing it. Well, my issue is that it says I've completed a guide when I haven't for this current character. Like in my original post I said that I am currently working on completing the Nazjatar area but I'm finding it difficult to use Zygor because it says I've already completed it, which I have on a different character.

Now, I dont expect a bug fix to come out immediately so what can I do to fix this issue for myself right now?

If the guide is showing that you have completed the steps for that character then that means the game server is telling the guide viewer that you have completed that quest. If you have not completed the quest but the game server says you completed it there is nothing we can do about that as the guide completion is all based on what the game server reports.

As for the searching, it sounds like there is a quest completion check as part of the search so that it doesn't return a result for something you've already completed.

In order to unlock the Legendary Cloak you will need to complete a number of pre-requisite quest, starting with (A) An Unwelcome Advisor or (H) Return of the Black Prince.

If you have lost your place during the quest chain, there are a number of locations on your map you will want to check for the "!" icon. We suggest first pulling up the map for Uldum and Vale of the Eternal Blossoms. If you do not see the icon at either of those locations, look for the icon in the Chamber of Heart.

Note: If you have spoken to Zidormi to turn back the timeline in Vale of Eternal Blossoms or Uldum, some quests will not be available until you speak to Zidormi again to bring your character back to the present.
