Unable to Access Correct Quest Steps

I'm currently on the quest 'Once More Into Kor'vess'. When I click the Zygot search button in my quest log, it says that I need the guide Vale of Eternal Blossoms Assaults, and that I'm 17% complete, but when I open the guide, it's at the end (step 45), saying that I have completed all the assults. If I click the left arrow, it takes me to step 12. While I have completed assaults in Pandaria, I haven't done the quests. Is there anyway to make the guide load correctly?

That is the correct guide but you can only do that quest if the mantid are attacking the Vale (in the proper invasion phase). The reason you saw the step that said you were completed is because you have to wait for the next reset of the invasions. I believe that is weekly for the Vale invasions. You will have to try again after the reset and hope that you have the correct invasion phase to do that quest. There are 3 different invasion phases and that quest can only be done during the correct phase. Probably best to just drop that one and pick it up again later once you're in the right phase. Since the guide is one that resets itself when the invasions reset the guide will never be completed so you can ignore that completion percentage.
