Does the guide no longer tell you how to get to a region you've never been to before? From Stormwind trying to get to Plaguelands the arrow points to it and says "destination unreachable" when it used to give me an overland ant trail how to get there.

If you're in a building step outside and try right clicking the arrow and select re-check route. Another thing you can try is to go into the Navigation section of the settings and move the comfort slider all the way over to fast.

Try speaking to a flight master in Eastern Kingdoms. Maybe it's lost track of which flight paths you've used.

I dont have the flight path unlocked to get to where I'm trying to get to, the guide used to give detailed paths on how to run there directly, that seems to be gone now.

Also, what happened to being able to select XP as an option when running through a guide? Now the only options are steps/quests completed. The XP option was very nice because with the latest version of the game you XP out of certain areas very quickly.

There must be some odd bug that's preventing it from showing you the way there. Take a flight as far north on EK as you can and it should hopefully kick in from there. EPL and WPL are up in the NE section of EK.

The XP bar was removed because you no longer out-level an area quickly. The zones scale up to max level for the expansion so you can (for example) get maximum XP at level 55 in Westfall. It is no longer faster to jump from area to area after gaining just a little XP in one spot.
