Error during multiboxing sync

Hi!

Never really ran into an error using the party sync option across my multibox toons until recently when trying to share quest guides (like dailies and assaults)

- I have tried resetting and reinstalling the zygor client.
- I can't necessarily find the WTF folder, and don't want to delete that folder since it has most of my other addon settings fine tuned (weak auras, frames, etc.)


Really only ran into this as of past few weeks, but has worked perfectly before without problems...

Hmm, have you tried disabling all other addons to see if maybe an update to one of them is messing with the guide viewer?

Tried again with only Zygor, but still got the error unfortunately...

If i have to go the route of deleting the WTF folder - is there a specific folder for each of my WoW licenses I need to avoid copying, to make sure I don't copy the same Zygor settings?

There is only one location where Zygor settings are stored. That is in WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables. There are 2 files in there, the settings file (.lua) and the backup of that file (.bak).

Damn - still had the error pops up, even after disabling all addons and wiping out current settings.

Tested with only two accounts instead of the usual 5-7 simultaneous run ones.

Quite frankly, the master account which initiates the party share can see the shared character underneath the guide tab...and on the account receiving the guide (receiver account), the error seems to be just the guide tab NOT popping up - the text for the shared guide overwrites the existing tab that's already there....versus when a new tab would be generated for the shared guide.

The error is really on the receiving account(s) not generating a new tab on the guide viewer to reflect the shared guide from the master account.
