Head of the AddOn team here. Believe it or not, I have thought of that before. There was no version increase in our AddOn with Burning Crusade, hence being one number behind, although, another way of looking at it is our version matches the expansion number. Shadowlands is the eighth expansion so the 8 matches that. Maybe we'll jump to 10 next time around
