While developing Version 2.0, we had a realization that there was a
better way to keep our guides up-to-date. After thinking on it, we've
decided to say "Out with the old, in with the new."
Our old method of updating our guides just wasn't cutting it. We
would make changes and wait... and wait... and make more changes...
and wait... and make more changes... and so on.
Eventually, we would have this massive update ready to be released
that would fix all these problems and errors. Unfortunately, by the
time it was time to release the gigantic update, you guys were just
about ready to rip our heads off, so to speak. :-) And you know,
that's totally understandable, since sometimes we would go months
upon end without releasing a new update.
To cut to the chase, we're telling that approach to updating to buzz
off, we're adopting a new approach that we think will be better for
everyone.
Instead of making small changes over a long period of time, and building
up a huge update, we're making changes and releasing much much smaller
updates more frequently. For example, we've updated our leveling
guides 4 times this week so far. I think that's more updates this
week than we've released over this past entire year. Granted, they
are much smaller updates, but still.
The moral of the story is problems, errors, bugs, etc, are getting
fixed and made available to you much more quickly than ever before,
and we want to make it easier for you to stay in the loop and make
sure you have the most up-to-date versions of our guides.
So, we've taken the plunge and started "tweeting" about updates. If
you've never used Twitter, you probably think I've lost my mind, which
is entirely possible, but that's beside the point.

Twitter allows us to keep you updated on what we're doing, or to let
you know we've released an update for our guides, or whatever important
or cool news we would like to share. No more cluttering your email
inbox with emails, much like this one you're reading right now. :-)

that will allow you to stay on top of your game!
