I got to this step last night and got very worried because there were no mithril casings on the AH on my server.
There were mithril bars though so I bought those (you need 3) and then advertised in the trade channel that I need an engineer to make a mithril casing, I have the mats, and I'm tipping. I got a bite pretty quickly and got what I needed.
If you're an engineer though, throwing mithril casings up on the AH would be a great way to make money. Had there been one up there I would have paid a lot just to continue in the guide.[SIZE="1"][B]realm:[/B] elune[/SIZE]
