First of all, congrats on lvl 30! For a total noob, I'd say that's a respectable time. You'll find the more characters you level and the more comfortable you become with game/class mechanics, that time will get MUCH faster. Truly though, nice job! btw, what server do you play on?

Feel free to ask any questions you have or ask for any advice any step along the way. I'm still surprised at how quick of a response you can get out of these forums. So use it!

Almost lvl 30 also! (currently lvl 29)

It's been a week since I started playing WoW. Though I may not be 80 in a week, this guide is the best!
I play now and then and sometimes all day, so eventually I'll be up there.

The '80 in a week' is in reference to /played time. This is the total time logged in on your character. I'm sure that in a real week you normally only get maybe 36 hours of /played time in (average 5hr per day playing). For most people, reaching 7 days of /played time will take around 1 month of real time.
