Use Zygor Guides in Korean Localized WoW

If you're using Korean Localized Client, you will see NPC and Quest names as "???" marks.

1st, Open "Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\ZygorGuidesVie wer.lua" with text editor (that provides UTF-8 coding like "editplus")

    check the line: 95~98

    You will see

    --local FONT = STANDARD_TEXT_FONT
    local FONT = DIR.."\\Skins\\SegoeUI.TTF"
    --local FONT = "Fonts\\2002.TTF"
    --ZGV.BUTTONS_INLINE=true

    change it to

    --local FONT = STANDARD_TEXT_FONT
    --local FONT = DIR.."\\Skins\\SegoeUI.TTF"
    local FONT = "Fonts\\2002.TTF"
    --ZGV.BUTTONS_INLINE=true

    save the file.

2nd, You still see 1 LUA error message when u login to game.
This is not important to use this guides.
But if you don't want to see the error message, then open the file
    "Interface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\Localization\k oKR.lua"

    check the line: 3
    you will see

    ZygorGuidesViewer.LocaleFont = [[Fonts\2002.TTF]]

    change it to

    --ZygorGuidesViewer.LocaleFont = [[Fonts\2002.TTF]]

    problem solved.

Try the newest one of these files here and see if it helps: http://www.wowace.com/addons/libbabble-zone-3-0/files/

        sorry, my mistake

        your fix worked!

when i open this zygorguideviewer.lua file,

line 95~98 codes were slightly different,

        --local FONT = STANDARD_TEXT_FONT
        local FONT = DIR.."\\Skins\\SegoeUI.TTF"
        --local FONT = "Fonts\\ArialN.TTF"
        --ZGV.BUTTONS_INLINE=true

yeah, it is slightly different, line 97's font name was not 2002.TTF but ArialN.TTF..

so i changed ArialN.TTF to 2002.TTF and tried your fix,

        and nicely worked!

        all "??"s are gone!

        thanks, 1337kane

this thread will be very useful to koreans and korean client users like me

btw, cataclysm NPCs' names are still english.

i think, NPCs_koKR.lua doesn't include these NPCs' korean names and i can fix this one by one while playing..

There is a difference of about 100KB between english and korean NPC name file. But this is also the case for other languages. I thin kthe developers use internet databases to fill the list so it shouldn't take long for the lists to be completed.
