I would just like to point out that even though it says you don't need a lvl 55 to make a death knight you still do

Of course you do. If not, people would be making level 55 characters, having never played before.

It is probably a typo.When Wrath first came out you needed to have a level 55 for each realm you wanted to create one.Eventually Bliz took this restriction away and now you can create 1 DK per realm as long as you have 1 level 55 per account.
