Heya =)
I was doing the Mining Guide 1-600 (in Pandaria), and after some farming I got bored and did some quests in WoD. While doing that, I mined all the ore I came across and, quit easily, got my hands on a scroll that got my mining profession limit up to 700 (so now it was 250/700).
This does however break the mining guide, as it assumes I am at the maximum of 600/600, and not 250/700. The classic mining guide is fine, though. It says "achive mining level 250/300" and shows the correct (classic) mining path.
I suggest setting the limits for the normal mining guide onto the actual profession level, not the unlocked level.
