How to tell what guides we own

In the old client, you used to be able to tell what guides you purchased already and what ones you hadn't. I'm pretty sure I purchased the Horde guide, but not the Alliance guide, and now I can't find anything that tells me one way or the other.

This isn't as apparent in the new client (2.1.39). Is it somewhere else I just don't see? I see a list of products, but not at what level they are at. (The old client would say: Cata/MOP/etc.)

Also, is there any way to stop the Zygor client from running in the background on exit? I don't want to keep scanning for updates, I can click the icon when I want updates like the old client. Please add an option to "just exit, 100%, no background" when closing the app.

You can log into the Members Area and go into the Products section to see which guides you own and which ones you can purchase or upgrade.

When you close the client it goes to your task bar tray, but if you want to you can right click on that icon and exit the client completely.

I haven't yet downloaded the new client, but I'm not entirely sure I want to. For something that only takes a few seconds to update, it just seems to me like it's not even worth having the option to let it run in the background, and a slight nuisance to have to manually close it like that every time, for those of us who like keeping background applications to a minimum.

Will I still be able to continue downloading updates if I stick with the old client?

The old client is no longer being maintained so it might eventually stop working. We might also implement features that would rely on the new client to work properly.

You never installed the Samsung SSD Magician software... That thing automatically starts but is not in any of the usual autostart locations so you can't disable it with msconfig. It's in the planned task lists which an average user never opens...

I too don't like having many programs running in the background. But the Zygor updater is something I usually start once a day before launching WoW so I only need to quit it once via rightclicking the tray icon.
At least it's that easy to quit the updater.

I'm not down with the running in background either. It would be great if there was just a command line that would update it, then I could put it in a wow startup script along with curse, tsm, etc.

There's an option in the Zygor client to automatically download and install updates.
Click the cogwheel in the lower right corner of the client and go into the preferences section. A white square next to an option means it's selected.
