Zygor Guides Client Installation download SLOW and always failing.

The other day when i was updating the client it went so slow (like 0.5-2KB/s) then stopped.
I removed the addon and redownloaded the client at the same speeds and now it wont install because it keeps stopping and will still only download at the patheticly slow speeds.

Now i checked everything on my end, reinstalled Java, tested other downloads were at normal speeds, for example i downloaded Diablo 2 from blizzards website and 3-5MB/s and music through the itunes store in a matter of seconds so i know its not my pc.

I also turned of my firewall and my anti virus to eliminate those as a cause also, flushed my DNS, restarted all my hardware.

Please help me figure out why this is happening, im in Australia too...
Im on an elite membership and havent been able to even install the client for 3 days now.

It could just be one of the connections between you and our server having a problem.

There are no alternative downloads. Try using a command prompt to run a "tracert content.zygorguides.com" (without the quotes) and see if you have any of the connections timing out.

When you did the Java reinstall did you completely remove all traces of Java before the new install or just put a fresh copy over what was already there?

Complete removal then reinstall, with a restart in between and after

Have you tried using a different computer to see if the download works fine? Just to fully eliminate any possible Java or computer issues.

I've only had one other report about a time out when trying to download but when he performed a tracert it showed a connection between him and our server failing. I've done tests and download rates have all been high and my downloads completed within seconds. That combined with a lack of anyone else having the problem makes me believe it's either something with your computer/Java, your ISP, or somewhere between you and our server.

Tried 3 different computers, one running Win7, one Win8 and one W10. All with the same result.

The problem must be somewhere between you and us then. Everything is working fine on our end and there are no other customers having a problem with the downloads.

I too am having the same issue. Fresh install of macOS 10.12.2 (Sierra), latest Java installed, new install of WoW and Zygor client. Very slow to download until 0.58MB, then stops. No errors.

You're both located in the same region of Australia, but with different ISP's from what I'm noticing.

It's rather difficult to pin what would be causing this, especially since the issue seems to only be Australian users at the moment.

Have you guys tried running a speed test to a North American server? I'd imagine a lot of download servers for bigger companies like Blizzard will have mirrors spread all across the world, so comparing download speeds to those wouldn't be too useful.
