Yes, they will work, same as our Leveling guides currently do. The only thing is, you'll just have to install the guides manually with a ZIP file until we release the Mac Client.

I guess I don't understand <duh> You can create guides that work seamlessly on both platforms but for some reason it takes extra effort to create a client or installer that does the same?

There is a Mac-based installer in the works; these are native applications, and so require separate development. It's not like putting together a zip file of text and graphic files...

I wouldn't be surprised if we see an OS X version soon, since it's already been stated that they're working on it I hope so, since I play on both a Windows PC and Mac.

Yes, as stated, addons work automatically for both Windows and Mac because they are only dependent on the game, not the operating system. The client runs before the game is even running, directly through the operating system.
