Ever since this latest patch (last two hot fixes whatever) cartographer is so out of date it does not work, if I let it load out date add on it just crashes.

Is there anything out there that works with the guides and gives me back my old map? So while the default map is ok, the detail it lacks sometimes bugs me. Again its not the end of the world, I played without it for over 2 weeks now, its just seems weird the guides were written to be in sync with the cart map and now I cannot use it and would like too. so are there any fixes out there?

Zygor has released his own waypoint arrow to get away from Cartographer since it's author no longer updates it. This works with the Blizzard map. If you'd like a fancier map with some more detail to it you can always try Carbonite, it emulates TomTom for the waypoint arrow.

Yeah, I haven't used Cartographer in a long time. The built-in Zygor waypoints work just fine, and the arrow is a lot cooler-looking IMO.
