having trouble with guild

i tend to get lost in this quest i've leveled my new toon with RAF and been farming dungeons and pvp and going with my friends to solo basin i'm now 78 and even with smart tracker it says to go to dragonblight

Could you tell me what Guide name/Step your on?
You could just right click the dragonblight step to skip it if there is nothing leading up with it

A lot of the quests in Dragonblight are probably considered to be chained because there's so many that are involved in getting that awesome cut scene done.

i have been doing that my guild says i'm level 72 in dragonblight and i'm currently level 78 and been going up to stormpeak

What are your settings in the Dynamic Progression section of the guide options?

i think it either very high or very low

If you have the slider set to a very high number then it will never skip anything. If you want to get out of Dragonblight fast set the slider to 0 and then just let the guide finish off the quests you currently have. It should start doing a whole lot of skipping then to get to a better spot for you.
