LUA error

So am I to understand that the guide works fine if using the English client but it gives this LUA error if you use the German client?

Yes, I tested the new viewer with 4 languages and german does not work.
As I mentioned before it is a bug in WoW that causes the problem, not the viewer itself.
The code I posted is a workaround that should work with every language as it only fixes the faulty constants of the german version and replaces nothing for other languages that don't have the bug.

I forgot to remove on line of debug code, the line with DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(QUEST_ITEMS_NEEDED) should be removed, I'll edit my previous post.

Edit: I uploaded the ZygorGuidesViewer.lua to my webspace HERE. Just extract the archive into your WoW/Interface/Addons/ZygorGuidesViewer folder and overwrite the file.

How can we tell if we are running the latest verison and is there an auto update to let us know?

The easiest way to see which version you're running is when in game go to the addons tab of the interface options and select Zygor Guides Viewer. At the bottom of the screen is a 'Generate bug report' button. If you click that the version number will be in the first line or two of the bug report. Just compare that to what is available in the members area.
