    I wanna new tank!

Well I got a 85 pally I'm not playing on my horde server anymore so....and I'm not playing my 70 DK on my horde server also....but I play my 85 Druid on my alliance server he is tank/Rdps but I'm thinkin of a new tank for my alliance server so that leaves me with..... a warrior...but I got the crapy pvp boa shoulders and chest with the 2h sword...can u tank as arms at lower lvls? And at 30 I'll worry about Getn a 1h boa sword for him if I have to spec prot if i can't tank as arms lol

I recall tanking with 2 1H swords on my old old warrior lol

an if anyone has tips on a new/low lvl warrior let me no I'm really thinking of making one now...

I never tanked before level 80 but from what I read in other forums the low level dungeons are not that hard to tank. The only problem are DDs not knowing how to play, getting aggro, dying and flaming.

I even saw fury warriors with PVP equip tanking in WotLK. So an arms spec should be OK for tanking as long as you have a one handed weapon and shield ready in case you get too much damage

In dungeons the racial abilities are not that important.
For leveling a Draenei is a good choice, Gift of the Naaru reduces the downtimes to zero. And Heroic Presence is always nice to have.
In dungeons a Dwarf may be good because of the Stoneform. Or Night Elf because of Quickness.

Just don't forget that Heroic Presence only works for yourself only now.

There are 2 options to give you a "benefit" as a warrior; Draenei for the "Gift of the Naru" ability, or Dwarf for Stoneform.
If I could look at a Draenei for long periods of time, I'd choose that one. I just can't tolerate a spacegoat.

Well I made a Nelf warrior last nite figured I couldn't pass up the 2% dodge with no CD....and althou the heal from the "spacegoat" is good I'd rather a stat that is with me all the time

There was a study done by the folks over at EJ to find the best races for tanks. After all the stat weights a tie was reached between a Human Pally and Night Elf Warrior. While you've decided on the Night Elf (good choice) here are the other benefits of choosing the other races in case anyone else watching this thread is making the same decision.

That being said, I'll cover the other races and why they make good warrior tanks:

-Human: Every Man for Himself is great in a pinch and can be the difference between a wipe and success. Extra Spirit does nothing for Warriors. The 10% rep bonus can help you get exalted with factions faster (and all the benefits that come along with it). Sword and Mace Specials are nice for the extra Expertise and help with threat generation.

-Gnome: Escape Artist is similar to Every Man. Extra Intellect does nothing for Warriors. If you’re planning on making your Warrior an Engineer, Gnomes are a good choice… Arcane resistance is pretty situational.

-Worgen: Extra crit is nice for threat generation. Darkflight is solid for getting where you’re needed if Charge is on CD or kiting adds where appropriate. Skinning bonus is good if you’re skinning, and more crit. I can’t remember the others but the shadow resistance is good in certain situations.

-Night Elf: Free 2% avoidance is really solid. Nature resistance is good in some situations, a ton of bosses this expac deal nature damage. Shadowmeld is great for threat reduction when swapping tanks.

Id just stick with what you pick up. The gear should be more than sufficient for you.
I leveled my warrior prot until level 66 before I even set foot into an AH, and that wasnt even to buy that toon a item. I have yet to buy an item for him and he's doing just fine.
                        Short version, save your gold.

As long as the BoA gear has no resilience to them, you'll do quite well with what you have.
I mean the gear will be fine even with resilience until you hit around 25.
