Decided to start a brand new toon after The Shattering. Wanted to play w/o heirlooms and see how much more linear the 1-60 path is. I'm absolutely at a loss for words for how much faster it is so far. To compare, I have a lock I leveled 1-60 w/ heirloom chest/shoulder before patch 4.01, and then my mage I just started a few days ago. Both are undead:

Level 25: Warlock: 18h, 34m
Level 25: Mage: 7h, 45m
Level 30: Warlock: 1d, 1h, 40m
Level 30: Mage: 10h, 59m
I know that Blizzard has simplified the path, but I still wouldn't be nearly as fast without zygor's guide. I'll try to update every 5 to 10 lvls or so, but I couldn't be happier with the new content and how flawless the guides are.
