So when I play, I sometimes hit a random lag spike, and the only way to stop it, is to exit the guide box. What I might suggest is being able to hide the guide box, where it still runs, but it's not up and showing, and have it where the arrow points to exactly where you need to go. So it's basically running, and going through the step, it's just not showing the box. So that means whenever someone needs to actually look at the box, they can just click the Zygor button on the minimap. Idk, it's a little idea to just the random lag spikes.
I know you can close it and just click the button, but the waypoint doesn't stay showing and stuff. My suggestions has it where it still goes through all the new steps while the box isn't showing.
