New issue while trying to update guide

[darktiggrain]

So around 1:00 I tried to update the guide viewer only to get a connection error. I emailed all the fixes I tried before sending the email. I got one back saying that the server was in Maintance mode. Which is weird if something is supposed to go live by a certain time. So now its finally connected but when I tried to update I get this message instead now stating there is an error trying to update the guides. This is the issue:

This is in the view screen under that info.

tried to update twice since guide was able to reconnect to server only to get this twice.

I was able to download the manual installation zip of 4.0.5047, maybe it's worth a try to get it from the members section.
And please don't flood the servers trying to run the updater every few seconds, I'm sure we get an announcement when everything is back to normal.

This Could Not Be Anticipated?

I've been trying to install the new version since this morning. Error message all over in those rare instances when I am fortunate enough to reach the download server. The Zygor website is slowed to a crawl too. It seems to me like the smart folks at Zygor might have anticipated this mess and geared up for the increase in traffic.

a nice hint to use the manual download... but unfortunately it takes a lot of a time to start, and at the moment I am not able to download it...

You have a lot of users... maybe a more robust server ? :-)

Even Blizzard was unable to keep everything working, my Characters got stuck in the loading screen for several minutes.
But now everything should be working as expected.
