When crafting items whilst Zygor addon is on - it causes severe fps dips.

Whilst crafting lots of items I noticed I started severely dipping in fps when the item was 'created'. When turning the Zygor addon off, It didnt dip in lag.

Any ideas?

Have you tested with all other addons disabled to see if there are fps issues when only Zygor is running?

This is also happening to me.
Reinstalled twice and have Zygor running by itself and it still causes problems.
It seems to be the actual creation of the item in your inventory that causes the FPS drop.

Really it seems anything to do with my professions gets bogged down when zygor is running.

I have disabled the:
Enable Gear Suggestions
Notification Center
Points of Interest
Inventory Management
Vendor Tools

Short of disabling the entire addon in the menu none of these things helped.

When crafting items each time an Item is deposited into my bags the frame rate dips somewhere between 2-6 from a standard 45-60 fps. When I open my professions windows it does not dip as severely however there is a noticeably extensive delay where the entire screen freezes and then the profession window opens.

I have several other addons installed one of which while crafting occasionally throws an error so I thought that it might be the culprit but disabling it did not help. I have disabled each addon 1 at a time while crafting a piece of gear and no single addon had any effect on the alleviating the performance degradation of the main wow client. However the inverse is true, with every other addon enabled excluding Zygor there is zero performance impact to the wow client while crafting items and the previously mentioned added does not error.

I attempted to see how severely I could cause the client to get bogged down so I gathered up enough mats to make about 100 items and started to craft them. It would seem that the longer consecutive amount of time it is allowed to run and continue to craft items the performance hit is worsened severely. I was not able to make the client crash however about 16 items in the client became unresponsive and at this point I pressed escaped to cancel the in game action which did register and it canceled however it still took a few minutes for the game client to become responsive again.

Once again without Zygor running I was able to craft the remaining 80 or so items with all other addons running and no issues.

I hope this helps and gives you some insight into the problem we are seeing. For now it seems simply disabling zygor when I go to craft is the only viable workaround which is not great but it's really just 2 /reloadui's so not the end of the world.

What does the Gear Management part of the addon have to do with professions and moving items in your inventory?

The gear system is always watching your bags in order to give suggestions. As you were picking things up to move them around it's probably seeing that as 'new' items that it has to check to see if it's an upgrade. Do you get this error with all other addons disabled?
